Andi Bachtiar Jalal (born in Bone, South Sulawesi, July 12, 1942 - died in Jakarta on May 4, 2006 at the age of 63 years) is an Indonesian politician. Jalal served as a member of Parliament from the Reform Star Party (PBR) represents the electoral district of Makassar from 2004 until death.

A retired Army, he joined the PBR in 2002 and is the Assembly of Experts PBR board that is active until his death. In Parliament, Jalal became a member of Commission II in charge of public affairs.

Jalal who is still a brother of the Vice-Chairman of the MPR, AM Fatwa, died suddenly while attending a meeting at the House of Representatives / MPR.
